Urvano Medel vs Juan Langa

Boxing Daily Report from the Millonarios promoted show at Club Waikiki, Lima,  taking place on 06/02/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Urvano Medel (5(4) - 0) who hails from Arequipa, Peru and Juan Langa(4 - 2 - 1) from Lima, Peru.  Both Medel and Langa weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Tajo Vences, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Canchola, Alejandro Olavarria and Guido Lucido.  

Round 1: 

Langa gets on the inside and throws a left hook, but Medel holds on to his opponent.  Medel is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Medel.

Langa advances into close range.  Medel pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Medel throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Langa gets on the inside.  Medel lands a right hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head.  
Langa walks Medel into a corner.  Medel lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a jab to the head.  
Langa closes the distance.  Medel lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Medel lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Langa throws a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a HUGE right uppercut.  LANGA WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!

Medel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Langa recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Langa is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Medel holds on to his opponent.  Medel leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.
