Jose Alvear vs Fresco Villareal

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guanajuato promoted show at Leon Bail, Leon,  taking place on 04/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico-Guanajuato Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Alvear (14 - 6) who hails from Celaya, Mexico and Fresco Villareal(15 - 6 - 4) from Irapuato, Mexico.  Alvear weighed in at 241 pounds and 11 ounces, while Villareal weighed in at 241 pounds and 7 ounces.
