Jose Merin vs Leonel Gallegos

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-San Luis Potosi promoted show at Bronco Farin Gym, San Luis Potosi,  taking place on 05/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-San Luis Potosi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jose Merin (10 - 6 - 3) who hails from San Luis Potosi, Mexico and Leonel Gallegos(5 - 11 - 4) from San Luis Potosi, Mexico.  Merin weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces, while Gallegos weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Calixto, and the three ringside judges are Rico Borjas, Senon Peinado and Joaquin Zambrano.
