Jay Nicolson vs Marcel Jacob

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Infinity Insurance Park, Miami,  taking place on 18/02/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Jay Nicolson (23(6) - 2) who hails from Irvine, USA and Marcel Jacob(23(12) - 0) from Carrefour, Haiti.  Nicolson weighed in at 153 pounds and 7 ounces, while Jacob weighed in at 153 pounds and 11 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Fanuco Villarrubia, and the three ringside judges are Ian Hossack, Paul Corse and Chris Sprout.  

Round 1:
