Ace Fosse vs Spengler Gericke

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Hesse promoted show at Nidda-halle, Frankfurt,  taking place on 04/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Western Europe Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Ace Fosse (14(1) - 1(1)) who hails from Le Mans, France and Spengler Gericke(21(15) - 9(4)) from Wiesbaden, Germany.  Fosse weighed in at 146 pounds and 6 ounces, while Gericke weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jarmann Kron, and the three ringside judges are Wilber Strubel, Niklas Pense and Elgar Gepner.  

Round 1: 

Fosse sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Fosse is on target with a solid right hook.  Fosse tries to land a left uppercut, but Gericke blocks the shot and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Fosse advances into close range.  Fosse quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Gericke's body.  
Gericke hits home with a firm cross.  
Gericke attempts to land a jab, but Fosse blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Fosse closes the distance.  Gericke digs in a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Fosse is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Gericke lands a left hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Fosse steps to the outside.  Gericke is really starting to turn up the heat!  He senses a stoppage here.  Gericke lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right uppercut to the body, AND DOWN GOES FOSSE!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Gericke lands a left hook, right uppercut and a right hook to his opponents body, AND KNOCKS FOSSE DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  It looks like Fosse has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.
