Joaquin Gramajo vs Jax Caram

Boxing Daily Report from the Chibawe Promotions promoted show at Maracay Salas, Maracay,  taking place on 08/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Joaquin Gramajo (10(4) - 0 - 1) who hails from Valencia, Venezuela and Jax Caram(3 - 2) from Caracas, Venezuela.  Both Gramajo and Caram weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dimos Fiel, and the three ringside judges are Urvano Moscoso, Jose Rafael and Nicandro Callejas.  

Round 1: 

Gramajo lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Gramajo clinches his opponent.  Gramajo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gramajo.  
Gramajo lands a left uppercut, right hook and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Gramajo pivots to the side of his opponent and digs in a solid left hook to Caram's body.  
Gramajo gets on the inside.  Caram throws a left hook, but Gramajo clinches his opponent.  Gramajo leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Gramajo steps inside and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to his opponents body.  Gramajo holds on to his opponent.  Gramajo is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Gramajo about fouling.  
Gramajo lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Gramajo connects with a sharp left uppercut.  Gramajo ties up his opponent.  Caram leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Gramajo hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. As they grapple, Gramajo pushes his forearm into Caram's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gramajo to stop fouling.

Gramajo has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
