Steven Aquilani vs Richie Cowden

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Brisbane Entertainment Centre, Brisbane,  taking place on 12/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Australia Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Steven Aquilani (17 - 4(2)) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Richie Cowden(12 - 1) from Adelaide, Australia.  Both Aquilani and Cowden weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zain Sharifi, and the three ringside judges are John Taggart, Francesco Ghiglia and Mel Culp.
