Jun Koo vs Huang-fu Khoo

Boxing Daily Report from the FIGHT! promoted show at Shanghai Ren, Shanghai,  taking place on 05/02/2028:

Clearly FIGHT! have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the China-Shanghai Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jun Koo (9 - 11 - 4) who hails from Shanghai, China and Huang-fu Khoo(5 - 18 - 5) from Shanghai, China.  Koo weighed in at 116 pounds And 14 ounces, while Khoo weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Zhu Yeoh, and the three ringside judges are Uang Chun, Xing-fu Chern and Woo Chai.  

Round 1: 

Khoo hits home with a cross.  
Khoo steps inside.  Koo sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a left hook into Khoo's body.  
Khoo is looking to close the distance.  Koo throws a right hook, but his opponent dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Khoo gets on the inside.  Koo drives a right hook into Khoo's ribcage.  
Khoo is on target with a left uppercut.  
Khoo attempts to land a jab, but Koo blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Khoo hits home with a left hook.  
Koo tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Koo's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.

Khoo advances into close range.  Khoo pivots to the left of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Khoo steps inside.  Koo is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Khoo finds the target with a jab.  
Koo lands a right hook followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Khoo closes the distance.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
