Edward Do vs Tariq Basher

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Berjaya Convention Centre, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 21/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Johor Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Edward Do (19(9) - 1) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Tariq Basher(12 - 10 - 5) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Both Do and Basher weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Obaid Diab, and the three ringside judges are Azam Hamdan, Saad Hassan and Rehan Sabet.  

Round 1: 

Basher closes the distance.  Do drives a solid left hook into his opponents liver.  
Do tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Basher manages to force Do into the corner.  Do is on target with a jab.  
Do lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Do steps away from his opponent and lands a jab, overhand right and an overhand left to his opponents head.  
Basher advances into close range.  Do lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Do steps away from his opponent and is on target with a solid jab.  
Basher hits home with an overhand right.  
Basher sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Do lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Basher steps inside and tries to land a right hook, but Do dodges the shot and counters with a cross.

Do lands a right uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Do tries to land a jab, but Basher sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  Basher almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Basher closes the distance.  Do connects with a spiteful left hook.  DOWN GOES BASHER!  He manages to get up at 4.

Basher closes the distance.  Do lands a left uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS BASHER DOWN!  He tries to rise but his legs dont respond...the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Do!
