Corey Magee vs Spencer Clough

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-Victoria promoted show at Melbourne Watkins, Melbourne,  taking place on 05/02/2028:

Clearly AI Australia-Victoria have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Corey Magee (9 - 0) who hails from Gold Coast, Australia and Spencer Clough(2 - 1) from Wollongong, Australia.  Both Magee and Clough weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dale Masoero, and the three ringside judges are Alastair MacIntyre, Aaron Hadjinyan and Dale Masoero.  

Round 1: 

Magee is on target with a cross.  
Magee lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Clough connects with a cross.

Magee closes the distance.  Magee lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Clough dabs at his face checking for damage.

Clough steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Magee steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.

Magee drives a sharp left hook into Clough's ribs.  Magee tries to land a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Magee hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Clough throws a right uppercut, but Magee ties up his opponent.  Magee tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Clough's kidney. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Magee.  
Magee lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Magee lands a jab followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Magee quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a solid left hook.  
Magee connects with a cross.  
Magee is looking to close the distance and connects with a right hook.  
Magee throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action and gives Clough time to recover.
