Merrill Olin vs Leo Rama

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Sullivan Arena, Anchorage,  taking place on 05/02/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Merrill Olin (36(25) - 3(3)) who hails from Saint-Denis, France and Leo Rama(10 - 5(2) - 1) from New York City, USA.  Both Olin and Rama weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Harvey Blair, and the three ringside judges are Felix Campbell, Bryan Hindman and David Edmiston.  

Round 1: 

Rama drives a ramrod jab into his opponents face.  
Rama throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.

Olin quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Olin pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a solid right uppercut.  
Olin lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Rama tries to land an overhand left, but Olin slips the shot and counters with a sharp cross.  
Olin steps away from his opponent.  Rama tries to land a cross, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a solid left hook.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Rama dabs at his face checking for damage.

Rama steps inside.  Olin pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Rama recovers before his opponent can take advantage.
