Blake Malcom vs Anton Zabelin

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Megasport Arena, Moscow,  taking place on 12/02/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport 1 Russia, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Blake Malcom (18(10) - 1) who hails from Townsville, Australia and Anton Zabelin(16 - 10 - 2) from Moscow, Russia.  Malcom weighed in at 153 pounds And 14 ounces, while Zabelin weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Borya Abramov, and the three ringside judges are Fadei Aksamit, Sergei Miranchuk and Afon Sokoloff.  

Round 1: 

Zabelin steps to the outside.  Malcom lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Malcom lands a sharp left hook.  
Malcom sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Zabelin throws a left hook, but Malcom ties up his opponent.  Malcom pushes his forearm into Zabelin's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Malcom about fouling.  
Malcom manages to force Zabelin into the red corner.  Malcom lands a right hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  Malcom ties up his opponent.  Malcom leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Malcom closes the distance and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Malcom lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Malcom holds on to his opponent.  Malcom is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Malcom quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Malcom throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Malcom ties up his opponent.  Malcom is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Malcom lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Malcom drives a right uppercut into his opponents body.  
Malcom drives a left uppercut into Zabelin's body.  
Malcom is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.

Malcom walks Zabelin onto the ropes.  Malcom lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Malcom lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Malcom gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but is unable to find the target.  Malcom ties up his opponent.  Malcom leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Zabelin steps away from his opponent.  Malcom lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Malcom connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Malcom advances into close range and lands a right uppercut to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the head.  
Malcom digs in a right uppercut to Zabelin's body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Zabelin's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Zabelin's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Zabelin's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Malcom throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Malcom holds on to his opponent.  Malcom leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Malcom's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Malcom lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Zabelin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Zabelin is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Malcom lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Malcom closes the distance and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Malcom lands a left uppercut followed by a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  
Malcom is looking to close the distance.  Some sustained pressure from Malcom could be enough to finish Zabelin!  Malcom connects with a MASSIVE left uppercut.  ZABELIN HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 5.  
Malcom lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  Zabelin now seems to have his senses back.  
Malcom closes the distance and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Malcom closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Zabelin recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Malcom lands a firm right hook.  
Malcom lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Malcom quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Malcom is looking to close the distance and hits home with a stinging right hook.  Malcom clinches his opponent.  Malcom uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Zabelin behind the head. The ref breaks Malcom's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Malcom sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a right hook to Zabelin's ribcage.  
Zabelin tries to land a left hook, but Malcom slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Malcom lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Malcom is on target with a spiteful left hook.  ZABELIN WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Zabelin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Malcom lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Zabelin quickly recovers. 
Malcom gets on the inside and connects with a MASSIVE left hook.  ZABELIN IS HURT!  Zabelin almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Malcom hits home with a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Malcom dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Malcom forces Zabelin to retreat into the blue corner.  Malcom connects with a FIERCE right hook.  ZABELIN IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE ON SHAKY LEGS BUT ZABELIN CAN'T BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Malcom!
