Neff Strehle vs Lenny Demus

Boxing Daily Report from the Zimba Promotions promoted show at Mannheim Gellman, Mannheim,  taking place on 23/02/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Germany-North Rhine-Westphalia Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Neff Strehle (16 - 9(2) - 2) who hails from Duisburg, Germany and Lenny Demus(13(6) - 7(5)) from Dusseldorf, Germany.  Strehle weighed in at 237 pounds and 15 ounces, while Demus weighed in at 229 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Leonard Deiters, and the three ringside judges are Tibalt Hemmelgarn, Yale Dang and Rudie Schehr.  

Round 1: 

Demus is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
Demus tries to land a left hook, but Strehle parries the shot and counters with a cross.

Demus drives a firm right hook into Strehle's body.  Demus ties up his opponent.  Demus leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Demus tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Strehle behind the head. 
Strehle steps away from his opponent.  Demus finds the target with a jab.  
Demus lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Demus is on target with a firm right hook.  Demus holds on to his opponent.  Demus is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Demus steps inside and lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Demus ties up his opponent.  Demus leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  Strehle recovers before his opponent can take advantage.

Demus quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a firm right hook.

Strehle sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Demus tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Demus steps inside and lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Strehle tries to step out of his opponents range.  Demus is on target with a sharp cross.  
Demus gets on the inside and tries to land a left hook, but Strehle blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Demus's liver.  
Demus connects with a stinging cross.  
Demus lands consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.  Demus holds on to his opponent.  Demus leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Demus is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Demus and breaks the clinch.  
Demus lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.  Demus ties up his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Strehle lands a jab to Demus's body.

Strehle steps away from his opponent and is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Demus manages to force Strehle into a neutral corner.  Demus lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  Demus ties up his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Demus lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Demus holds on to his opponent.  Demus leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Demus to stop holding.  
Demus digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Strehle dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Demus lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Demus lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Demus lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Strehle steps to the outside.  Demus is on target with a jab.  
Demus gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Demus steps inside and lands two right hook's to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Demus walks Strehle into a corner.  Demus lands a right uppercut followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Demus hits home with a solid right hook.  
Demus quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right uppercut.  
Demus lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  
Demus digs in a solid right hook to Strehle's ribcage.  
Demus lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Demus forces Strehle to back into the ropes.  Demus lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Strehle is looking to keep his distance.  Demus lands with a stinging jab.  
Demus lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  Strehle wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Demus dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Demus crashes a big left hook to Strehle's body.  IT LOOKS LIKE STREHLE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Strehle switches the action to the outside.  Demus knows it could take just a few clean shots to force the stoppage.  Demus slams a mean left hook into Strehle's liver.  STREHLE IS DOWN!  HE MAKES IT TO ONE KNEE, BUT IS UNABLE TO RISE ANY FURTHER AS THE REF COUNTS 10!  The winner by KO is Demus!
