Anton Sukosyan vs Toma Zentsov

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Megasport Arena, Moscow,  taking place on 12/02/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Russia Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport 1 Russia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Anton Sukosyan (26(17) - 1(1)) who hails from Omsk, Russia and Toma Zentsov(21 - 6(3)) from Volgograd, Russia.  Both Sukosyan and Zentsov weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Borya Abramov, and the three ringside judges are Sergei Miranchuk, Fadei Aksamit and Afon Sokoloff.  

Round 1: 

Sukosyan hits home with a ramrod jab.  
Sukosyan switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Zentsov hits home with a cross.  Zentsov tries to land a cross, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sukosyan lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan is on target with a stinging cross.  
Sukosyan steps to the outside.  Zentsov throws an overhand left, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a firm right hook.

As they grapple, Sukosyan pushes his forearm into Zentsov's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sukosyan steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan finds the target with a jab.  
Sukosyan tries to step out of his opponents range and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.

Sukosyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Sukosyan lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan gets on the inside and digs in a right hook to Zentsov's body.  Sukosyan throws a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Sukosyan lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Sukosyan lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan lands a jab to the body, an overhand left to the head and a jab to the head.  
Zentsov lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Zentsov attempts to land a jab, but Sukosyan sidesteps and counters with a stinging left uppercut.  
Sukosyan lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Zentsov quickly recovers. 
Zentsov steps away from his opponent.  Sukosyan feints a left hook, and then lands a cross.  
Sukosyan feints a right, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Sukosyan feints a left, and then finds the target with a jab.  
Sukosyan tries to keep the action at long range and lands with a ramrod jab.  
Sukosyan lands with a spiteful jab.  
Sukosyan strikes his opponents body with a jab.  
Sukosyan lands a cross, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.  
Sukosyan EXPLODES a VICIOUS overhand left into his opponents face.  ZENTSOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Zentsov recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Zentsov manouvers Sukosyan onto the ropes.  Zentsov lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  Zentsov tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Zentsov feints a jab, but Sukosyan ignores the feint and lands with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  ZENTSOV IS HURT!  
Sukosyan steps away from his opponent.  Sukosyan is looking to put the pressure on now...he knows a few clean shots could mean an early night.  Sukosyan lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ZENTSOV DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 7.  It looks like Zentsov has now recovered from that shot earlier.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Zentsov's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.

Sukosyan steps inside.  Sukosyan pivots to the left of his opponent.  Sukosyan lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head, DROPPING ZENTSOV TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Sukosyan clinches his opponent.  Sukosyan is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sukosyan to stop fouling.  Zentsov quickly recovers. 
Sukosyan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and snaps his opponents head back with a sharp jab.  
Zentsov hits the target with a solid jab.  
Sukosyan is looking to keep his distance and lands a VICIOUS cross.  ZENTSOV IS HURT!  Zentsov quickly recovers. 
Sukosyan steps away from his opponent.  Sukosyan circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Zentsov tries to land a cross, but Sukosyan slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Zentsov finds the target with a stiff jab.  Zentsov attempts to land a left hook, but Sukosyan parries the shot and counters with a VICIOUS left uppercut.  ZENTSOV WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Zentsov quickly recovers. 
Zentsov cuts off the ring, trapping Sukosyan on the ropes.  Sukosyan is on target with a HUGE cross.  ZENTSOV IS HURT!  
Sukosyan switches the action to the outside.  Sukosyan senses Zentsov is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Sukosyan lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND ZENTSOV IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Sukosyan!
