Tommy Byrnes vs Jim Higgins

Boxing Daily Report from the Braveheart promoted show at Glasgow McGee, Glasgow,  taking place on 13/02/2028:

Clearly Braveheart have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Tommy Byrnes (4 - 11 - 5) who hails from Glasgow, UK and Jim Higgins(5 - 9 - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Byrnes and Higgins weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Martin MacBeth, and the three ringside judges are Joseph Menelaws, Andrew Frew and Anton Adam.  

Round 1: 

Higgins lands a cross to the body, and then to the head.  
Byrnes advances into close range and hits home with a left hook.  
Higgins gets on the inside.  As Byrnes tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Higgins dabs at his face checking for damage.

Higgins quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Byrnes lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Higgins hits home with a left hook.
