Bassett Adiaba vs Borden Foccart

Boxing Daily Report from the Gbedema Promotions promoted show at Garoua Rigaudeau, Garoua,  taking place on 14/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Cameroon-Nord Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bassett Adiaba (16(1) - 5 - 1(NC)) who hails from Garoua, Cameroon and Borden Foccart(12 - 12 - 2) from Garoua, Cameroon.  Adiaba weighed in at 135 pounds, while Foccart weighed in at 134 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Waltier Moreau, and the three ringside judges are Javier Feutmba, Raul Truffaut and Sinjon Ndjodo.  

Round 1: 

Adiaba advances into close range.  Adiaba sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook, left uppercut and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Adiaba digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Adiaba closes the distance.  Foccart throws a right hook, but Adiaba holds on to his opponent.  Adiaba is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Adiaba advances into close range and lands a right hook to the head followed by two right uppercut's to the body.  
Adiaba lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Adiaba drives a right hook into Foccart's body.  
Foccart attempts to land a jab, but Adiaba slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Adiaba steps inside and lands a sharp right uppercut.  
Adiaba throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Adiaba steps inside.  Adiaba digs in a right hook to his opponents ribs.  As Foccart tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Adiaba dabs at his face checking for damage.

Foccart switches the action to the outside.  Foccart throws a short cross to the body, but lands low!  The ref ignores Adiaba's complaints and signals for the action to continue.

He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut, cross and a right hook to his opponents head, AND FOCCART IS DOWN!  He fails to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Adiaba!
