Alejandro Canizares vs Montenegro Velasco

Boxing Daily Report from the Habe Promotions promoted show at Quito Leo, Quito,  taking place on 13/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Canizares (7 - 3) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Montenegro Velasco(15 - 7) from Quito, Ecuador.  Canizares weighed in at 114 pounds and 12 ounces, while Velasco weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Luis Mazariegos, and the three ringside judges are Diego Pareja, Neper Cifuentes and Manuel Moralez.
