Aaron Molpus vs Jason Heffernan

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at The O2, Dublin,  taking place on 26/02/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Setanta Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Aaron Molpus (18(1) - 3 - 1) who hails from London, UK and Jason Heffernan(13 - 10 - 2) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Molpus and Heffernan weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Hobbs, and the three ringside judges are Joshua MacCarthy, Lewis Carroll and Rory Carver.  

Round 1: 

Molpus is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Molpus is on target with a left hook.  
Molpus walks Heffernan onto the ropes.  Molpus sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Molpus steps inside.  Molpus pivots to the side of his opponent.  Heffernan throws a left hook, but Molpus holds on to his opponent.  Molpus leans on his opponent using all his weight. Molpus is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Molpus and breaks the clinch.  
Molpus manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Molpus sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Molpus digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  Molpus ties up his opponent.  Molpus uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Heffernan's kidney. The referee warns Molpus and breaks the clinch.  
Molpus is on target with a firm right hook to Heffernan's body.  
Heffernan is on target with a left hook.  
Molpus pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a cross to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Molpus gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Heffernan quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Molpus is on target with a sharp left hook.  Molpus holds on to his opponent.  Molpus is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Molpus is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Molpus closes the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Molpus advances into close range and attempts to land a left hook, but Heffernan blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
