Zack Haggart vs Ciro Dimitriou

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Buffalo State Sports Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 26/02/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zack Haggart (23(13) - 1) who hails from Garden Grove, USA and Ciro Dimitriou(13 - 7 - 3) from Athens, Greece.  Haggart weighed in at 111 pounds and 13 ounces, while Dimitriou weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neil Sneddon, and the three ringside judges are Mark Elley, Rob De Mauro and Antonio Palazzi.  

Round 1: 

Haggart lands an overhand right, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  
Dimitriou advances into close range.  Haggart lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  Haggart ties up his opponent.  Haggart leans on his opponent using all his weight. Haggart is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Haggart to stop fouling.  
Haggart tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a sharp cross.  
Haggart lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Haggart quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by  two overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Haggart throws a left uppercut, but his opponent sidesteps.  Haggart clinches his opponent.  Haggart leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Haggart steps to the outside.  Haggart feints a left hook, and then lands with a ramrod jab.  
Haggart feints a left, and then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Haggart lands a sharp jab.  
Dimitriou advances into close range and walks Haggart onto the ropes.  Haggart lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Haggart lands a right uppercut, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Dimitriou closes the distance.  Haggart pivots to the right of his opponent.  Haggart drives a right uppercut into Dimitriou's body.  Haggart holds on to his opponent.  Dimitriou is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Haggart's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Haggart tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands a jab to the body, a jab to the head and a cross to the head.  
Haggart lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Dimitriou recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Dimitriou advances into close range.  Haggart is on target with a stinging left hook.  
Haggart steps to the outside and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Haggart lands with a ramrod jab.  Haggart tries to land a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Haggart lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Dimitriou is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Haggart switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Haggart lands a cross to the head followed by a jab to the body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dimitriou's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Dimitriou's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Dimitriou's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Round 2: 

Haggart steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a jab to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Dimitriou almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Haggart lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head, AND DROPS DIMITRIOU!  He manages to get up at 7.  Dimitriou quickly recovers. 
Haggart feints a jab, and then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Haggart switches the action to the outside.  Haggart quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.  
Haggart is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two jabs followed by an overhand left to his opponents head, AND SENDS DIMITRIOU TO THE CANVAS!  He makes it to one knee, but is unable to rise any further as the ref counts 10!  The winner by KO is Haggart!
