Yavor á Paskalev vs Volodmiri Kohut

Boxing Daily Report from the Bulgarian Boxing promoted show at Vladislav Arena, Varna,  taking place on 14/02/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Yavor á Paskalev (5(5) - 0) who hails from Plovdiv, Bulgaria and Volodmiri Kohut(7 - 14 - 5) from Kiev, Ukraine.  Both Paskalev and Kohut weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Marko á Volvov, and the three ringside judges are Marko á Volvov, Radko á Jordanov and Bogomil á Ivankov.  

Round 1:

Kohut manages to force Paskalev onto the ropes.  Kohut sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Paskalev connects with a firm left hook.  
Paskalev digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Paskalev tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Kohut is looking to close the distance.  Paskalev lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Kohut recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Kohut's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Kohut's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Kohut gets on the inside.  Paskalev lands two consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Kohut recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Paskalev steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
Paskalev is on target with a jab.  
Paskalev lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.  
Paskalev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands an overhand right.  
Paskalev gets on the inside and lands a hurtful left hook.  KOHUT IS HURT!  Paskalev ties up his opponent.  Paskalev leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Kohut now seems to have his senses back.

Kohut gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Paskalev lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Paskalev lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Paskalev tries to keep the action at long range and lands two jabs followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Paskalev EXPLODES a hurtful left hook into his opponents face.  KOHUT WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  
Paskalev is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Some sustained pressure from Paskalev could be enough to finish Kohut!  Paskalev lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  He then lands a right hook, left uppercut and a right uppercut to his opponents head, AND SENDS KOHUT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Kohut cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Paskalev!
