Khalid Begum vs Lloyd Akafia

Boxing Daily Report from the Selasee Promotions promoted show at Accra Mensah, Accra,  taking place on 18/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ghana Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on bTV Action, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Khalid Begum (7 - 4 - 1) who hails from Accra, Ghana and Lloyd Akafia(11 - 7(2) - 3) from Accra, Ghana.  Begum weighed in at 114 pounds and 2 ounces, while Akafia weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nabulung Berko, and the three ringside judges are Noel Koranteng, Leighton Kwei and Shevon Adusei.  

Round 1: 

Akafia backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Begum tries to tag Akafia on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Begum hits home with a cross.
