Viktor Kovalski vs Yakiv Choma

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Dynamo Palace of Sports, Moscow,  taking place on 25/03/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Eastern Europe Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Sport 1 Russia, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Viktor Kovalski (24(23) - 3(3)) who hails from Naberezhnye Chelny, Russia and Yakiv Choma(19(13) - 5(5)) from Kremenchuk, Ukraine.  Both Kovalski and Choma weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Igor Nezhmetdinov, and the three ringside judges are Ioakim Shayduku, Ioakim Shutkov and Viktor Mikhaylov.
