Mahavir Padmanabhan vs Kieran Spotswood

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 11/03/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Asia-Oceania Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mahavir The Tamil Tiger Padmanabhan (27(10) - 3) who hails from Chennai, India and Kieran Spotswood(13 - 4(1)) from Perth, Australia.  Both Padmanabhan and Spotswood weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Durie, and the three ringside judges are Ewan Duffy, Mel Culp and Barry Forbes.  

Round 1:
