Satoru Miyoshi vs Satoru Ashikaga

Boxing Daily Report from the Nottinggham Promotions promoted show at Ichiro Mikami Gym, Sendai,  taking place on 23/01/2028:

Clearly Nottinggham Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Miyagi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Satoru Miyoshi (3 - 19 - 1) who hails from Sendai, Japan and Satoru Ashikaga(7 - 0) from Sendai, Japan.  Both Miyoshi and Ashikaga weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mitsuru Miyake, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Shiraki, Keiichi Nakata and Hiroki Tamashiro.  

Round 1: 

Miyoshi is on target with a cross.  
Ashikaga is looking to close the distance.  Ashikaga sidesteps to the left of his opponent and connects with a stinging left hook.  
Miyoshi gets on the inside.  Ashikaga pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.
