Kenji Okubo vs Satoshi Hagiwara

Boxing Daily Report from the Carabetian Promotions promoted show at Kyoto Tashiro, Kyoto,  taking place on 21/02/2028:

Clearly Carabetian Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenji Okubo (6 - 14 - 1) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Satoshi Hagiwara(5(1) - 0) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Okubo and Hagiwara weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yuji Nagai, and the three ringside judges are Takeshi Shimizu, Takeshi Shimizu and Jiro Sugimoto.  

Round 1: 

Hagiwara is looking to keep his distance.  Hagiwara sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Okubo is on target with a cross.  
Hagiwara advances into close range.  Okubo attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref ignores Hagiwara's complaints and signals for the action to continue.
