Boxing Daily Report from the Hennessy Boxing promoted show at Adelaide Arena, Adelaide,  taking place on 04/03/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are John Lay (12(2) - 1(1)) who hails from Perth, Australia and Mel Christopher(18(1) - 4 - 2) from Wellington, New Zealand.  Both Lay and Christopher weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Richie MacRae, and the three ringside judges are John Barmore, Bryn Callahan and Bryn Callahan.
