Brendan Cruickshank vs Spencer Maver

Boxing Daily Report from the Slick Rick Promotions promoted show at Manukau Pihama, Manukau,  taking place on 27/01/2028:

Clearly Slick Rick Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the New Zealand-Auckland Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brendan Cruickshank (12 - 4) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Spencer Maver(5 - 4 - 1) from Manukau, New Zealand.  Both Cruickshank and Maver weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Beynon, and the three ringside judges are Rob Horsburgh, Lloyd Rease and Mark Kinzey.
