Esteban Fernandez vs Alejandro Mero

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Distrito Federal promoted show at Mexico City Botello, Mexico City,  taking place on 25/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Esteban Fernandez (8 - 11 - 3) who hails from Mexico City, Mexico and Alejandro Mero(9 - 0) from Monterrey, Mexico.  Both Fernandez and Mero weighed in at 115 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Gabaldon, and the three ringside judges are Neron Alarcon, Joaquin Villasenor and Roman Algarin.
