Leonardo Cubero vs Diego Merlo

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Bayamon promoted show at Ovidio Umanzor Gym, Bayamon,  taking place on 26/02/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Bayamon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Leonardo Cubero (10 - 11 - 2) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Diego Merlo(11 - 9 - 4) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Cubero weighed in at 140 pounds, while Merlo weighed in at 139 pounds And 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Baltasar Castilleja, and the three ringside judges are Jair Sebastian, Elias Subia and Ponce Terrazas.
