Gauvain Camara vs Dax Gomis

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Senegal-Diourbel promoted show at Touba Tounkara, Touba,  taking place on 31/01/2028:

Clearly AI Senegal-Diourbel have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Senegal-Diourbel Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gauvain Camara (3 - 12(1) - 3) who hails from Touba, Senegal and Dax Gomis(9 - 5(1) - 1) from Diourbel, Senegal.  Camara weighed in at 168 pounds, while Gomis weighed in at 167 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Page Dieye, and the three ringside judges are Dior Name, Francois Ulliel and Laurent Camus.  

Round 1:

Gomis uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Camara's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.  As Camara tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gomis dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Gomis.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
