Bartol Juretic vs Damjan Šodan

Boxing Daily Report from the Obad promoted show at International Hotel, Zagreb,  taking place on 20/02/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Bartol Juretic (4 - 0) who hails from Zagreb, Croatia and Damjan Šodan(1 - 2 - 2) from Zagreb, Croatia.  Both Juretic and Šodan weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Branko Štimac, and the three ringside judges are Gabrijel Rožic, Bogdan Zubcic and Vjeko Lovric.  

Round 1: 

Juretic feints a jab, and then lands a left hook to the head followed by a cross to the body.  
Juretic gets on the inside and is on target with a left uppercut to his opponents liver.  Juretic holds on to his opponent.  Juretic is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Juretic lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Juretic throws a cross, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Juretic steps inside.  Juretic is on target with a left hook to Šodan's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Šodan dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Juretic lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Juretic gets on the inside and is on target with a left hook to Šodan's ribs.  
Juretic steps inside.  Šodan throws a left hook, but Juretic holds on to his opponent.  Juretic pushes his forearm into Šodan's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Juretic lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Juretic lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a right hook to the head.  Juretic clinches his opponent.  Juretic leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Šodan walks his opponent into a corner.  Juretic is on target with a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Šodan's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Šodan's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.

Juretic manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Juretic lands a right uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.
