Sobhan Elakchaoui vs Haaris Alabi

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Palais des Congress, Marrakech,  taking place on 18/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Northern African Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Al Jazeera Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Sobhan Elakchaoui (27(15) - 1) who hails from Errachidia, Morocco and Haaris Alabi(17(11) - 3(3)) from Suez, Egypt.  Elakchaoui weighed in at 245 pounds and 8 ounces, while Alabi weighed in at 234 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kemaleddin Suissa, and the three ringside judges are Salamah Elhad, Wasif Yacoubi and Talut Samlal.
