Kudret Meric vs Kudret Sabuncu

Boxing Daily Report from the Bonga Promotions promoted show at Gaziantep Sener, Gaziantep,  taking place on 01/03/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Turkey-Gaziantep Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on NTV Spor, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kudret Meric (17 - 2) who hails from Gaziantep, Turkey and Kudret Sabuncu(22 - 2) from Gaziantep, Turkey.  Both Meric and Sabuncu weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Derya Hocazade, and the three ringside judges are Tunc Ozkan, Iskander Tugba and Umut Chuhadar.
