Douglas Baird vs Wayne MacCarthy

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Devonshire House Hotel, Liverpool,  taking place on 25/02/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Douglas Baird (8 - 0) who hails from Dundee, UK and Wayne MacCarthy(2 - 3 - 2) from Newcastle, UK.  Both Baird and MacCarthy weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair Litts, and the three ringside judges are Nick Monahan, Robert Bevans and Owen Saunders.  

Round 1:
