Porfio Magin vs Dario Merced

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Sixto Escobar Stadium, San Juan,  taking place on 17/03/2028:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the North American Minimumweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WAPA-TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Porfio Magin (26(7) - 1 - 1) who hails from Carolina, Puerto Rico and Dario Merced(16 - 6 - 3) from Santo Domingo de Guzman, Dominican Republic.  Both Magin and Merced weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Cuellar, and the three ringside judges are Ricardo Montemayor, Angel Zambrano and Zelipe Sarinana.  

Round 1:
