Dave Ard vs Antwan Alford

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Colorado promoted show at Glitterdome, Denver,  taking place on 03/03/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Ard (8(1) - 0) who hails from Greeley, USA and Antwan Alford(7 - 13(1) - 2) from Arvada, USA.  Both Ard and Alford weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kai Latto, and the three ringside judges are Rich Bayne, William Mutch and Peter Whitten.  

Round 1: 

Ard connects with a firm left uppercut.  
Ard is on target with a jab.  
Ard steps to the outside and lands a spiteful jab.  
Ard finds the target with a jab.  
Alford steps inside and throws a left hook, but Ard ties up his opponent.  Ard hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Ard steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Alford is looking to close the distance and walks Ard onto the ropes.  Ard is on target with a left hook.  
Alford is on target with a cross.  
Alford advances into close range.  Ard lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Ard is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross, jab and a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Alford almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Ard lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Ard lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Alford quickly recovers. 
Ard tries to step out of his opponents range and is on target with a solid jab to his opponents body.  
Alford throws a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook to Alford's body.  
Alford advances into close range.  Ard pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Ard pivots to the right of his opponent and connects with a cross.  
Ard tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab, overhand right and a jab to his opponents head.  
Ard drives a spiteful jab into his opponents face.  
Ard steps to the outside and lands a jab to the body followed by a overhand left to the head.  
Ard sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Ard lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.  
Alford closes the distance.  Ard lands a left hook, left uppercut and a right hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS ALFORD DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Ard holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Ard pushes his forearm into Alford's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Ard to stop fouling.  
Ard steps to the outside.  Ard senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Alford and just needs the right shot.  Ard lands two right uppercuts followed by a right hook to his opponents head, AND SENDS ALFORD SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He unsteadily tries to get up but is unable to beat the 10 count!  The winner by KO is Ard!
