Jack Stackpoole vs Mark Pak

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shreyas Gym, Boston,  taking place on 10/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jack Stackpoole (16(1) - 2) who hails from Wichita, USA and Mark Pak(8 - 13 - 11) from Columbia, USA.  Both Stackpoole and Pak weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bilal Elbaz, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Ogle, Peter Cooper and Hugh Hier.  

Round 1: 

Stackpoole gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Stackpoole steps inside and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Stackpoole drives a solid right uppercut into Pak's body.  
Pak is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Stackpoole lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Stackpoole steps inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Stackpoole closes the distance and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  Stackpoole clinches his opponent.  Stackpoole pushes his forearm into Pak's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Stackpoole.  
Stackpoole is looking to close the distance.  Pak throws a left hook, but Stackpoole ties up his opponent.  Stackpoole leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Pak uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Stackpoole behind the head. 
Pak is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Pak feints a left, and then attempts to land a jab, but Stackpoole slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Pak's body.  
Stackpoole connects with a right hook.  Stackpoole ties up his opponent.  Stackpoole is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stackpoole manouvers Pak onto the ropes.  Stackpoole tries to land a left hook, but Pak parries the shot and counters with a right hook to Stackpoole's body.  
Pak walks his opponent into the corner.  Stackpoole lands a stinging cross.  
Stackpoole lands two right hooks to the body, and one to the head.  
Stackpoole lands two right hooks followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Stackpoole advances into close range and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  Stackpoole ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Stackpoole lands a solid right hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Pak's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Stackpoole throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  As Pak tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Stackpoole dabs at his face checking for damage.

Stackpoole cuts off the ring, trapping Pak in a corner.  Stackpoole drives a solid right uppercut into Pak's ribcage.  Stackpoole holds on to his opponent.  Stackpoole tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Pak behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Stackpoole about fouling.
