Sergei Khaybulaev vs Lee Magorian

Boxing Daily Report from the Magicman Promotions promoted show at Red Cow Moran Hotel, Dublin,  taking place on 19/02/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Sergei Khaybulaev (23(6) - 0) who hails from Norilsk, Russia and Lee Magorian(1 - 11 - 3) from Dublin, Ireland.  Both Khaybulaev and Magorian weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bradley MacGinnis, and the three ringside judges are Lorcan Coleman, Mike Green and Lee Beirne.  

Round 1: 

Khaybulaev lands with a stiff jab.  
Magorian throws a left uppercut, but Khaybulaev clinches his opponent.  Khaybulaev is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Khaybulaev pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Khaybulaev lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Khaybulaev lands a right uppercut.  Khaybulaev ties up his opponent.  As they grapple, Khaybulaev pushes his forearm into Magorian's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Khaybulaev pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Khaybulaev hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Khaybulaev lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Khaybulaev holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Khaybulaev pushes his forearm into Magorian's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Khaybulaev to stop fouling.

Magorian steps inside.  Khaybulaev sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Magorian throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Khaybulaev clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Khaybulaev connects with a stinging left hook.  
Khaybulaev walks his opponent down, trapping him in the blue corner.  Khaybulaev hits home with a right hook.  
Khaybulaev digs in a firm left hook to Magorian's body.  
Khaybulaev steps inside and lands a left hook, right hook and a left hook to his opponents head.  
Khaybulaev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Magorian attempts to land a left uppercut, but Khaybulaev parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Khaybulaev is looking to close the distance and is on target with a left hook.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Magorian's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Magorian's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Magorian's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Khaybulaev lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Khaybulaev has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Khaybulaev lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.  
Khaybulaev lands a right hook.  
Khaybulaev pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook.  
Khaybulaev quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a sharp right uppercut.  
Khaybulaev lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  Khaybulaev holds on to his opponent.  Khaybulaev is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Magorian steps inside.  Khaybulaev lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  Khaybulaev clinches his opponent.  Khaybulaev is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Khaybulaev pushes his forearm into Magorian's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Khaybulaev about fouling.  
Khaybulaev lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Khaybulaev gets on the inside.  Khaybulaev sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook.  
Khaybulaev manouvers Magorian into a corner.  Khaybulaev lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Khaybulaev pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Magorian connects with a right uppercut.  
Khaybulaev throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Khaybulaev holds on to his opponent.  Khaybulaev leans on his opponent using all his weight. Khaybulaev hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Khaybulaev to stop fouling.  
Khaybulaev lands a right hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Khaybulaev dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Khaybulaev sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Khaybulaev pivots to the side of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Khaybulaev walks Magorian down, trapping him in a corner.  Khaybulaev lands a left hook.

Khaybulaev is looking to close the distance.  Khaybulaev sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  
Khaybulaev lands a jab.  
Khaybulaev lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Khaybulaev tries to keep the action at long range and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Khaybulaev advances into close range.  Khaybulaev pivots to the side of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  
Khaybulaev closes the distance and hits home with a firm right hook.  
Khaybulaev forces Magorian to back into a corner.  Khaybulaev pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a nasty right hook.  MAGORIAN IS HURT!  
Khaybulaev knows Magorian is hurt...he is putting the pressure on now, looking for the stoppage.  Khaybulaev lands two right hooks followed by a cross to his opponents head, KNOCKING MAGORIAN DOWN!  He remains on the canvas as the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Khaybulaev!
