Ron Reid vs George Buchanan

Boxing Daily Report from the Mthethwa Promotions promoted show at Tommy McCard Gym, Edinburgh,  taking place on 13/02/2028:

Clearly Mthethwa Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Scotland Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ron Reid (6 - 8 - 4) who hails from Edinburgh, UK and George Buchanan(5 - 6 - 5) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Reid and Buchanan weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Matthew, and the three ringside judges are David MacInnes, Bruce McBeth and David McClarnon.  

Round 1: 

Buchanan closes the distance.  Reid is on target with a right hook.
