Genjo Tao vs Hsin Hsu

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Fujian promoted show at Lee Wun Gym, Xiamen,  taking place on 14/02/2028:

Clearly AI China-Fujian have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Fujian Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Genjo Tao (11 - 9 - 2) who hails from Quanzhou, China and Hsin Hsu(13 - 4) from Fuzhou, China.  Both Tao and Hsu weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Shing Min, and the three ringside judges are Chen Ki, Ye Vuong and Huang-fu Thai.  

Round 1: 

Tao is looking to close the distance.  Hsu is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  Hsu ties up his opponent.  Hsu tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Tao behind the head. Hsu leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Hsu pushes his forearm into Tao's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Hsu.  
Hsu closes the distance and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Hsu lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Hsu manouvers his opponent into a corner.  Hsu lands a right hook.  
Tao is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Hsu gets on the inside and throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot.  Hsu ties up his opponent.  The ref breaks Hsu's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Hsu walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Hsu hits home with a firm right hook.  
Hsu pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a sharp right hook.  
Tao pivots to the left of his opponent.  Hsu lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Hsu is on target with a right hook.  
Hsu walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Hsu lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Hsu is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Hsu clinches his opponent.  Hsu is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Hsu uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Tao behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Hsu feints a jab, but Tao is not fooled and lands with a cross.  
Hsu is looking to close the distance.  Hsu pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a right uppercut to the head.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Tao's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Tao's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Tao's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Tao steps inside.  Hsu drives a right uppercut into Tao's ribs.  
Hsu is on target with a stinging right hook.  
Hsu sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with a stinging left hook.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Tao dabs at his face checking for damage.

As Tao tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Hsu dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Hsu.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Tao tries to keep the action at long range.  Hsu tries to land a jab, but Tao dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Hsu walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Hsu is on target with a right uppercut.  
Hsu snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Hsu gets on the inside and throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.
