Ricardo Mendivil vs Marjun Corte

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Coahuila promoted show at Ngwenya Gym, Saltillo,  taking place on 15/03/2028:

Clearly AI Mexico-Coahuila have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Coahuila Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ricardo Mendivil (8 - 5 - 6) who hails from Torreon, Mexico and Marjun Corte(4 - 7 - 5) from Torreon, Mexico.  Mendivil weighed in at 117 pounds and 11 ounces, while Corte weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Carlos Remigio, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Macia, Xaverius Montera and Porfio Danon.

As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Mendivil has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
