Max Shumway vs Max Trumble

Boxing Daily Report from the Spinger Boxing Club promoted show at Dallas Crookshanks, Dallas,  taking place on 18/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-SouthWest Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Max Shumway (11 - 11(1) - 4) who hails from Houston, USA and Max Trumble(14 - 12(2)) from Austin, USA.  Shumway weighed in at 241 pounds, while Trumble weighed in at 246 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hesson, and the three ringside judges are Danny Henderson, Clinton Hollern and James Kinman.  

Round 1: 

Shumway lands a left hook.  
Shumway pivots from in front of his opponent.  Trumble is on target with a right uppercut to his opponents body.

Trumble pivots to the right of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Shumway has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.
