Philippe Herod vs Baptiste Tripoli

Boxing Daily Report from the Kajubi Promotions promoted show at Athens Anthis, Athens,  taking place on 18/03/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Greece-Attica Cruiserweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Philippe Herod (18 - 2 - 1) who hails from Peristeri, Greece and Baptiste Tripoli(6 - 9 - 1) from Athens, Greece.  Both Herod and Tripoli weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Urian Salis, and the three ringside judges are Anstiss Barba, Etor Lillis and Ibycus Georgopoulos.  

Round 1: 

Herod lands a sharp jab.  
Herod lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  He then lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.  
Herod steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Tripoli tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a cross.

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Herod.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
