Ian Bethune vs Kyle Davies

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Guyana-North promoted show at Georgetown Woodside, Georgetown,  taking place on 20/03/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Guyana-North Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ian Bethune (6(1) - 2 - 1) who hails from Georgetown, Guyana and Kyle Davies(1 - 0) from Georgetown, Guyana.  Bethune weighed in at 140 pounds, while Davies weighed in at 139 pounds And 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Robert Blackstock, and the three ringside judges are Oliver Evan, Fraser Shone and Kris Manderson.  

Round 1: 

Davies drives a stiff jab into his opponents face.  
Davies quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Bethune drives a cross into his opponents body.

Davies wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bethune dabs at his face checking for damage.

Bethune lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Bethune ties up his opponent.  Bethune tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Davies's kidney. 
Bethune steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Davies lands with a solid jab.  Davies throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

He follows up the attack and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs, AND SENDS DAVIES SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He isnt going to beat the count!  The winner by KO is Bethune!
