Roger Mow vs Emilio Raisi

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 06/05/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a final eliminator for the Oceania Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Roger Mow (20(9) - 1) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Emilio Raisi(14 - 3(1)) from Melbourne, Australia.  Mow weighed in at 147 pounds, while Raisi weighed in at 146 pounds And 10 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hugh Durie, and the three ringside judges are Steven Candreva, Neil McAllaster and Ian Norris.  

Round 1: 

Raisi gets on the inside and attempts to land a right hook, but Mow sidesteps and counters with a solid right uppercut.  
Raisi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Mow lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mow hits home with a firm cross.  
Raisi steps inside.  Mow throws a left hook, but his opponent avoids the punch.  Mow clinches his opponent.  Mow pushes his forearm into Raisi's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Mow.  
Raisi walks Mow down, trapping him on the ropes.  Mow lands a right hook.  
Mow connects with a hurtful left hook.  RAISI WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Raisi quickly recovers. 
Mow lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mow lands a solid cross.  
Raisi gets on the inside and manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Mow lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Mow hits home with a stinging left hook.  
Mow lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Mow switches the action to the outside and hits home with a firm cross.  
Raisi pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Raisi is looking to close the distance.  Mow lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mow hits home with a stinging right hook.  Mow throws a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Mow digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Mow is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  
Mow stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Mow lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head, AND SENDS RAISI TO THE CANVAS!  He manages to get up at 4.  Raisi now seems to have got his legs back.  
Mow steps away from his opponent and lands two straights followed by an overhand right to his opponents head.  
Mow tries to step out of his opponents range.  Mow quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Raisi tries to land a cross, but Mow sidesteps and counters with a firm right uppercut.  
Raisi closes the distance.  Mow lands a right hook.  
Mow lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  Mow ties up his opponent.  Raisi leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Raisi pushes his forearm into Mow's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Mow sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Raisi lands a right hook.  
Mow steps away from his opponent and lands with a spiteful jab.  
Raisi is on target with a right hook.  
Mow hits home with a solid cross.  
Raisi is looking to close the distance and walks Mow onto the ropes.  Raisi throws a right hook, but the shot is blocked.  Mow clinches his opponent.  Mow is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Mow's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Mow's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Raisi's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Raisi's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.  Raisi's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Raisi manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Raisi lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Mow lands a sharp jab.  
Mow is looking to keep his distance and lands a jab, cross and a jab to his opponents head.  
Mow lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Raisi advances into close range.  Mow digs in a stinging right hook to Raisi's ribs.
