Waleed Farhat vs Rehan Mahfouz

Boxing Daily Report from the Boye Promotions promoted show at Mashhad Farag, Mashhad,  taking place on 21/03/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Iran-Razavi Khorasan Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IRIB, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Waleed Farhat (12 - 0) who hails from Mashhad, Iran and Rehan Mahfouz(13 - 2 - 2) from Mashhad, Iran.  Both Farhat and Mahfouz weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kashif Greiss, and the three ringside judges are Ibrahim Morad, Tariq Baig and Tariq Mousa.  

Round 1: 

Mahfouz gets on the inside.  Farhat pivots to the right of his opponent.  Farhat throws a right hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
