Santhosh Tandon vs Karan Punnaiah

Boxing Daily Report from the AI India-Uttar Pradesh promoted show at Rohit Kandari Gym, Lucknow,  taking place on 22/03/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India-Uttar Pradesh Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TEN Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santhosh Tandon (8(1) - 0) who hails from Ghaziabad, India and Karan Punnaiah(13 - 6 - 1) from Kanpur, India.  Tandon weighed in at 147 pounds, while Punnaiah weighed in at 146 pounds and 9 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Haider Hoda, and the three ringside judges are Ashok Bhattacharya, Damodar Ghoda and Kailash Tewari.
