Rico Salinari vs Dante Zappacosta

Boxing Daily Report from the Rocco Agostino promoted show at Genoa Menia, Genoa,  taking place on 20/03/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Italy-Liguria Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Salinari (10 - 9 - 2) who hails from Genoa, Italy and Dante Zappacosta(17 - 3) from Genoa, Italy.  Both Salinari and Zappacosta weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fabiano Vendola, and the three ringside judges are Gianluca Bergomi, Marco Masoero and Fabiano Vendola.  

Round 1: 

Salinari is on target with a cross.  
Zappacosta attempts to land a jab, but Salinari slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut to Zappacosta's ribs.
