Mario Di Francesco vs Alessio Scalia

Boxing Daily Report from the Gyan Promotions promoted show at Adolfo Secchia Gym, Catania,  taking place on 22/03/2028:

Clearly Gyan Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Italy-Sicily Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mario Di Francesco (6 - 10 - 7) who hails from Messina, Italy and Alessio Scalia(5 - 12 - 1) from Catania, Italy.  Both Di Francesco and Scalia weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fabrizio Valdifiori, and the three ringside judges are Giorgio Domenici, Roberto Riva and Arturo Bongiorno.  

Round 1: 

Scalia closes the distance.  Di Francesco is on target with a left hook.
