Michi Iwai vs Daichi Tokunaga

Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Yoyogi National Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 22/04/2028:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the East Asian Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV Tokyo, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Michi Iwai (25 - 2 - 1) who hails from Higashiosaka, Japan and Daichi Tokunaga(23(8) - 4(3)) from Sakai, Japan.  Both Iwai and Tokunaga weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Hikaru Nakamura, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Ishibashi, Aki Fujii and Kazuhiko Nakano.
